The horsebox takes 2 horses, rear facing and has a payload of 780kg. The horsebox is easy to drive and has cctv installed so you can monitor your horses during transport, the cab takes 3 people.

There’s also a small grooms area with storage, plus 2 saddle racks, tack hook and a further small storage area under the bench seat if required.

Based in Kensworth, Bedfordshire we’re easy to find only 5mins from M1 junction 9.

Transportation Service with Driver

If you are looking for a transportation service with a driver please contact us directly for a quote providing the date of travel, collection/pick up address, address details of where you want to go, how many horses are travelling and size of the horse(s) plus the purpose of travel. We will then get back to you with availability and a quote.

• Obtain code from DVLA to enable your driving licence to be checked by TC Horseboxes. If you have a UK licence you can obtain a code here www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence you will need your driving licence and NI number.
• Be age between 25 to 70 years.
• Hold and produce a full UK, EU or Channel Islands Licence (for the weight of vehicle hired along with your paper counter part as applicable) must be held for 2 years.
• Supply your license number before hire along with code generated from the above link
• Two years recent regular UK driving experience.
• Supply 2 proofs of address (which must match the address given at time of booking) these must be less than 3 month old. Your address also must match the address on your driving licence otherwise further ID will be required. Acceptable proof of address ID is as follows: Bank Statement, Credit Card Statement, Mortgage Statement, Rent Book, Employment Pay Slip, Gas/Water/Electricity Bill, Council Tax Bill/Statement, HMRC Tax Code Notice, HMRC Self Assessment “Notice to Complete a Tax Return”, Mobile Phone Contract Statement.
• No more than 6 motoring conviction points or a driving suspension in past five years.
• Have no criminal convictions (motoring or otherwise).
• In the last three years, not to have had more than one fault accident or more than two non-fault accidents (a fault accident is where a 100% recovery of all costs has NOT been made).
• Must not have had any insurance declined, cancelled, renewal refused, or special terms imposed.
• Not use the horsebox for hire and reward. 

Please note for your information: New regulations have come into force from the 1st October 2018 that require all horses to have an up to date passport if you wish to transport a horse. For further information regarding these new regulations please visit www.equineregister.co.uk
